Toto’s Story by Xiao Yik- Pet Owner:
“I rescued this 6 year old dog from an irresponsible owner who had not taken good care of him. Toto was fed with inferior food and tied under the sun. The owner was ready to give him away. He was having serious skin issues, shedding heavily and fleas and ticks were all over him. I had no choice but to bring him to a groomer to have his fur all shaved. My heart broke when I realized how skinny he was after the shave.
I immediately put him on Canine Caviar’s Special Needs as I have been feeding my furkids Canine Caviar’s Open Meadow which has impressed me because of the quality of the food. After 90 days on Canine Caviar I could see a difference in Toto. His hotspots and blisters were gone. His fur has fully grown out and no longer shedding. He is eating very well and has gained significant weight that makes him look so much better.
I’m now switching his food to Canine Caviar’s Open Meadow since I see his skin problems are gone and with the switch, I’m hoping he can gain more weight. I wanted to take this opportunity to share this experience of mine hoping to alert all pet owners out there about the importance of good, quality food for our pets. Keep in mind that we are responsible for their wellness from the day we choose to keep them as a pet.”
